About JPM Builders

Interiors, built to open.

A Houston interior construction company that renovates, builds out, finishes and furnishes commercial properties across Texas.

Who you are hiring

JPM Builders is an interior construction company based in Houston, Texas. We renovate, build out, finish and furnish hotels, apartment communities, retail, restaurants, offices and clinics, and we hold the whole fit-out contract when a client wants one. Our principals bring more than twenty years of combined experience in construction, design, planning and development to every job.

We built JPM Builders around the last mile of a project, because that is where owners get hurt: the rooms that are finished but not furnished, the store that passed inspection but is not fixtured, the punch list that drags for a month. Our crews carry the finish trades and the FF&E installation, so a property goes from construction complete to open with the same company that started it.

Behind that we are one contract for the whole fit-out when you need it: pre-construction, design coordination, construction management and interior general contracting. JPM Builders is licensed and insured, and ten trades, from demolition and slab prep, concrete and floor prep, through framing, roofing, drywall, tile, stone, glass, paint and millwork, run on our own payroll.

Our clients are hotel owners and management companies working through a PIP, multifamily operators renovating occupied communities, retail and restaurant operators opening on a lease date, practices fitting out a clinic, and developers who need the whole fit-out. They hire us for the finish, and they hire us again because the date held.

How we run a job

Walked every week, written down every time.

Every JPM Builders project has one project manager from the first walk to the handover, not a rotating cast. That is why we keep our crews in house: we cannot promise a date and then wait to hear whether a subcontractor shows up. The people setting tile, hanging drywall and installing the case goods work for us.

You get a weekly walk, a written list of decisions, a direct number for the person running your job, and a schedule that counts backward from the day you need to open. When something changes, and something always does, you hear it from us first, with options.
