Bad framing is cheap to fix on day three and expensive to fix on day thirty, once drywall, tile and cabinets are hanging on it. We frame with our own crew so our superintendent can walk the walls before anyone covers them. A corner that is out of square gets pulled and reset that afternoon, not discovered by the millwork installer six weeks later.
The framing crew works from the same schedule we keep for the rest of the job. When rough-ins are due in a corridor on Monday, the walls are standing and blocked by Friday, because the crew is ours to direct and the date was built backward from the day the space opens.
