Paint is where a rushed schedule shows first. Our painters are on our payroll, so their start date is set by our project manager, not squeezed into whatever days are left before the opening. That is how the prep gets done: walls sanded and primed, trim caulked, previous coats dealt with instead of painted over.
On occupied work, hotel corridors, leasing offices, lobbies, the crew works in short sections with low-odor products and the space back in use the same day. Colors and sheens follow the brand book or the designer’s schedule, and a drawdown is approved before a wall gets rolled.
